This ensures that they have access to 24/7 support in a safe environment. Residential treatment features a schedule of evidence-based therapies and other wellness activities that support recovery.
Who is residential treatment for addiction right for?
Residential treatment is considered a higher level of care and is most suited for those who require more intensive support than an outpatient program would provide. Residential care does not include hospitalization services and is best for those who have already completed detox and are medically stable before beginning treatment.
Residential treatment can be especially beneficial for those who do not have a stable, supportive living environment or who do not have access to reliable transportation to treatment services. By providing a safe, recovery-focused living environment throughout the treatment program, residential care helps patients maintain the healthy substance-free routines they are building in treatment.

What to Expect in Residential Treatment at Prosperity Wellness Center
Prosperity Wellness Center takes an individualized, trauma-informed approach to addiction treatment. At our residential treatment facility in Washington State, we take a “home-to-home” approach where patients experience an accepting, supportive, and accountable environment. We help patients uncover the roots of their substance use disorders through evidence-based treatment. We understand that each patient is unique, with different experiences and challenges that can shape their path to recovery. Our team of experts works with each patient to ensure care is personalized to best fit their needs.
Our Residential Living Environment
Residents at Prosperity Wellness Center can enjoy semi-private rooms and meals in our comfortable treatment center. We foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages acceptance, accountability, and empowerment. We celebrate diversity in all forms at our treatment center.
Therapies and Treatment
Our treatment programs feature evidence-based therapies that have been shown to help in supporting addiction recovery, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Our therapies are offered in both group and individual sessions, which each provide a different source of support. We also facilitate 12-step programming for individuals interested in participating in this recovery framework.
Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment
Our treatment team is equipped to help those who are navigating mental health disorders that co-occur alongside addiction, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. We understand that many individuals dealing with addiction may also be grappling with mental health struggles, and our treatment is designed to support co-occurring mental health conditions in an integrated approach.
Our Team
At Prosperity Wellness Center, patients are supported by a multidisciplinary team of addiction specialists. Our team of experts includes a medical director, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, substance use disorder counselor, behavioral technicians, certified peer support counselors, case manager, and discharge planner. Our team works together to ensure comprehensive support throughout your time with us. Many of our team members have completed treatment themselves and have walked the same path as our patients.
A Typical Schedule in Our Residential Rehab Program in Washington
Our residential treatment program is typically structured for four weeks. Weekly schedules include a variety of group discussions and usually conclude with an Empowerment Circle on Fridays, which provides a space for patients and leadership to share gratitude and empower each other to work toward success in recovery.
Each day starts with problem-solving group sessions, which provide individuals an opportunity to work on self-growth by identifying any trauma responses that may be making it difficult to break the cycle of addiction. These group sessions are divided into separate men’s and women’s sessions.
Other group sessions held throughout the week include topics such as the Addiction Cycle, Grief and Loss, Betrayal Bonds, Gratitude, Boundaries, and Wellbriety. These different group sessions cover various topics so that patients are educated about the many ways addiction and recovery can affect their lives. Our goal is to empower our patients with knowledge about addiction so they are able to make choices that support long-term recovery and wellness.

What Happens After Residential Treatment at Prosperity Wellness Center?
At Prosperity Wellness Center, we know the journey to lasting addiction recovery isn’t complete after finishing a treatment program. We start planning for a patient’s discharge on their first day with us to ensure they are well-prepared for their next step in recovery. Our discharge planning is refined throughout a patient’s time with us to adapt to their recovery goals, treatment needs, and any barriers that may be affecting their recovery journey.
For individuals opting to continue care with Prosperity after residential treatment, we offer multiple levels of outpatient treatment. Our programs include an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that lasts 9 weeks and consists of three group sessions a week. From there, we offer an outpatient treatment program (OP) that consists of two group sessions a week for 18 weeks.
We offer our IOP and OP programs both in-person and online, allowing us to serve patients in the way that best supports their recovery.
