Q: Will I receive care that is specific to my issues and situations?

A: Yes, Prosperity Wellness Center developed programs designed to target the specific issues faced by individuals with substance use, and mental health concerns.

Q: My spouse just started treatment. I called the program yesterday to ask the counselor some questions. The counselor said that she could neither confirm nor deny that my spouse was even there! What is that about?

A: Federal and State HIPPA laws protect an individual’s privacy. Before the counselor can talk to anyone (including you) about an individual’s treatment, the program must first have her permission, in writing. Even if the counselor knows that you know your loved one is there, she still cannot confirm the presence of any individual in the program until your loved one signs a release of information or disclosure authorization form. You may want to talk to your loved one and be sure she understands that you would like to be involved in the treatment program.

Q: What happens after treatment?

A: Our patients begin to develop an aftercare plan with their therapy team early in the treatment process and will each receive an aftercare plan specific to their circumstances and situations. After treatment at Prosperity, you are also automatically enrolled in Discovery for Life™ – free support that’s with you for a lifetime. Discovery for Life begins with Discovery365™, a 16-point interactive assessment and check-in program for one year after discharge. With Discovery365, we use breakthrough, proprietary technology to intervene when you need additional support.

Q: How can I afford treatment?

A: Prosperity Wellness Center accepts Department of Social and Health Services, Medical Coverage. Some of our patients and their families who are not covered by health insurance self-fund their treatment.
