Treatment at Prosperity Wellness Center

When you struggle with substance use disorder (SUD), hope of finding the right treatment may wane. But at Prosperity Wellness Center, we never lose hope in finding proper treatment when you walk through our doors. We celebrate diversity in its many forms, so we continue to create relationships that can help us say “yes” to everyone who seeks access to care.​ 

Since 1992, we have provided trauma-informed SUD and co-occurring disorder treatment for adults through residential, intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient programs. Getting to the root of the trauma behind the disorder is paramount to starting the journey of healing. And we are the only substance use treatment center that stands by you with a Lifetime Commitment. Recovery is a process and our expert staff is dedicated to help you obtain lasting and healthy coping skills.  

Residential Treatment

In our residential treatment center (RTC), we approach care with a “home-to-home” solution. You will feel the spirit of what a home should be: accepting, supportive, safe and accountable.  You can expect: 

  • Trauma-informed care for SUD and co-occurring disorders
  • Evidence-based treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and more
  • Individual and group therapy sessions such as problem-solving
  • Motivational interviewing
  • 12-step facilitation
  • Assistance with Suboxone® and Vivitrol®
  • Somatic therapy
  • Semi-private rooms and meals

Outpatient Treatment

For those in need of a level of care that offers greater autonomy, Prosperity offers IOP and outpatient programming through our Outpatient Wellness Center. Patients can finally heal with quality treatment but at times that are flexible. In our IOP or outpatient programs, you can expect: 

  • Trauma-informed care for SUD 
  • Evidence-based treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and more 
  • Individual and group therapy sessions such as problem-solving  
  • Motivational interviewing 
  • 12-step facilitation 
  • Somatic therapy
  • DUI assessments and deferred prosecution services 
  • Virtual outpatient treatment

Supportive Expert Staff

The caring team at Prosperity works collaboratively so that you feel fully supported, from the first phone call to well after you complete treatment. And many of our team members have walked through your shoes before, having either completed treatment at Prosperity or someplace else. Our team includes:

Problem Solving Group (PSG)

In this daily group, you will address the traumas that lead to negative survival behaviors. Evidence-based and transformational, this group is unique to Prosperity and emblematic of the dynamics of self-growth that we foster. Through a person-centered approach, you will clearly define problems associated with your individual trauma and goals and reduce trauma responses that may keep you stuck in an addictive cycle.

12 Steps

Leave treatment feeling confident in your understanding of the inner workings of the 2-Step Program. You will engage in learning practical applications of the 12-step principles in everyday life.

Family Roles/Masks

By Identifying and understanding individual family roles, you will unveil underlying dynamics and patterns in your own family system. Recognizing these roles can help all family members comprehend their own behaviors and impact on others. By addressing and modifying these roles, you will develop healthier interactions and relationships within your family.

Relapse Scenarios

While triggers and setbacks are part of recoverty, you can learn to anticipate and explore them in a supportive environment. You’ll share and learn effective coping strategies and develop effective personal relapse prevention techniques. With active engagement, you’ll bolster your resilience and commitment to maintaining your sobriety.

Grief & Loss

Whatever loss you may have experienced, you’ll find a compassionate space to process your pain and begin healing. Find solace and understanding in shared experiences. Working through the pain while walking in recovery will strengthen your sobriety.

Relapse Prevention

Our unique approach to relapse prevention includes evidence-based material to help you understand deeply entrenched beliefs about your ability to remain in recovery long-term. Develop a deeper understanding of yourself and healthy coping skills which you will be encouraged to use throughout your treatment. Leave feeling empowered and equipped to continue your recovery with newfound capabiliites.

Addiction Cycle/Recovery Cycle

This unique, two day, four hour course will explore the inner workings of your mind. You will have a greater understanding of your negative core beliefs, survival behaviors, unmet needs and cycles that will either lead you back to use or forward in to recovery. You will be challenged to address negative self-talk and make a commitment to practicing healthy boundaries for yourself while learning how to navigate your personal recovery cycle.

Values

While in addiction you may find that you have strayed away from your values. This group focuses on re connecting you back to yourself to leave treatment being a stronger and more vibrant you. During this group you will challenge your negative core beliefs to unlock your full potential.

4 Agreements/Spirituality

From the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz, the Four Agreements group offers profound insight into personal growth and inner peace: Be impeccable with your word; don’t take anything personally; don’t make assumptions; always doing your best. These promises will bring spiritual growth, tools and insights that align with your long-term recovery goals. You will complete this group feeling revitalized and refreshed!

Co-occurring Substance Use Disorders

As a co-occurring residential facility, we provide education on understanding the complex interplay of substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Clinicians take an individualized approach to support each attendee in understanding the importance of addressing co-occurring disorders.

Anger

Facilitated by a certified SUDP, anger management group offers tools and strategies to navigate intense emotions without having to resort to substance use. Goup discussion, and skill development to manage anger and communicate effectively. You’ll address underlying issues contributing to anger, learning healthy coping skills and setting boundaries to reduce the destructive behaviors that lead to sustainable recovery.

Betrayal Bonds and DYADS

This unique, two day, four hour course will transforms your understanding of personal past trauma and experiences. Explore the dynamics of betrayal and abusive relationships. Receive validation from others who have gone through similar struggles. Learn to lean away from toxic patterns, heal from adult and childhood wounds and build a healthier relationship with others and yourself. You’ll leave with a greater feeling of autonomy and empowerment to exact lasting change.

Emotional, Physical & Sexual Abuse

Survivors of abuse will find a safe and healing space that promotes resilience and recovery. Through the group education and discussion patients will process trauma, learn new coping skills and regain a sense of empowerment.

Post Acute Withdrawals (PAWs)

Understanding post-acute withdrawals is vital to meeting long term recovery goals. It begins with education on the disease of addiction and knowing what to expect once you have removed substances from your body. You will develop the skills and obtain the tools to cope and develop an individualized idea of your own lived experience with PAWS.

Blood Born Pathogens, Tuberculosis and Nicotine Use Disorder

This two hour course focuses on education, support and resources. Learn skills on risk reduction, coping strategies and treatment options.

Empowerment Circle

All patients and Prosperity leadership (CEO and Program Director) come together weekly to share gratitude, talk about suggestions to improve the program and find ways to empower one another for success. This group fuels the growth of patients and the program.

Love Addict/Love Avoidant

Break free from unhealthy relationship patterns and and culltivate fulfilling connections. Building healthy connections with others is one of the corner stones of recovery. You can acheive this by addressing underlying issues such as attachment trauma and fear of intimac. Learn to establish boundaries, communicate effectively and build mutually satisfying relationships.

Gratitude

Both educational and practical, Gratitude Group will help you develop an understanding of the inner workings in your brains physiological structures. Expect to leave armored with the proof and understanding of the importance of leading a gratitude driven life. Obtain the tools and skills to begin practicing gratitude on a daily basis.

Wellbriety

Draw upon Indigenous wisdom and cultural practices to heal from substance abuse and trauma. Through sharing circle, teaching and making medicine bags participants reconnect with their heritage and/or spirituality as they navigate the path to sobriety. In a supportive environment, cultural resilience and holistic wellness are central to your recovery journey.

Boundaries

Building healthy boundaries is an essential components to maintaining recovery and wellbeing. Understand personal boundary styles and explore new skills to address tough or uncomfortable situations. Cultivate self-respect and assertiveness while walking their path to recovery.
