Director of Clinical Services - Outpatient
Kym has been with Prosperity Wellness center since June 2025 as the Clinical director of outpatient an has been in the field of behavioral health for over 35 years with the first 22 years working with adults with developmental disabilities in Vocational rehabilitation and the last 13 years in substance abuse, which has always been her passion. Kym also volunteers with Pierce County Victim’s impact panel, being a survivor of a DUI crash Christmas Eve 2019.
Kym loves working as a substance abuse counselor and hopes to inspire others to see their potential & possibility that sobriety brings! Kym celebrated 31 years clean & sober June 23, 2025 and when she’s not working, she loves thrift store shopping, documentaries & cooking. Currently, she has completed a certified Recovery Coach program from Clover Park Technical College and is perusing completing a Master’s degree in Substance abuse disorders.
